Drew saw the allergist/immunologist today. He took vials and vials of blood. Drew was a trooper. He really wasn't too concerned about the food reaction (concerned enough to test for allergy to chickpeas and sesame), but more "alarmed" with his Petechiae. He has turned into a polka dot kid over night. It has spread to his extremities and his head. We get his platelet count back tomorrow. If things are off, we will get in sooner to the hematologist/oncologist at Childrens and likely cancel his ear tube surgery. He is currently scheduled for the 13th. Seems like a long time to wait.
On a side note. Tonight in the bath, Drew was back combing his hair (so it looked puffy), he looked just like his cousin Ellie. Like a mini Ellie. They are ear dot twins in all...:)
