Drew had his 6 month check up today. He weighs in at a whooping 18 pounds! He is in the 50th % for weight, 25th for head (aka pinhead) & 75th for height. He was a good boy, he laughed a lot while we were there, he only cried while they gave him his shots, then quickly settled down. His pedi thinks his episodes are an autoimmune response, she thinks we should wait until next fall to determine if we should send him to a specialist for a definative diagnosis (I think its like Raynauds-that is what she was thinking). His episodes are far fewer between, so is good. Likely due to the warmer weather. He just may grow out of it, she thinks it is more pronouced in him as he is so fair skinned.

Moms attempt at giving Drew a nice life experience...swim trunks: Gap $15, Swim shirt: Old Navy $10, Hat: Second hand $cheap, Pool: Toys R us: $15, Special swim diaper: $10 a pack, Gallon of Aveeno Sunscreen: at $8 tube=2 tubes, subtract the amount he ate..., Gas spent driving all over town getting items: $too much, Energy spent getting him ready: TONS, Drews reaction to the pool: TEARS!! I guess he isn't much of a swimmer yet.
