Drew had his 4 month appointment yesterday morning. Here are his stats: 15 lbs, 4.9 oz (50th percentile), 25.5 inches long (75th percentile), and his head is 16 inches (50th percentile). Since his 2 month appointment, he has gained 3 lbs 4.9 oz and has grown 2 inches! His head has grown 2 inches as well.
The pedi recommended we start either soy or liquid gold (otherwise known as Enfamil Nurtramigin). She thinks he may have a milk protein allergy. That is why his excema is not getting better. We did change up his formula last week to a partially digested milk formula (I would like to know who digested it first??:), per a different pedi's recommendation, we thought it looked a bit better. I guess if he does have a MP allergy, the one we switched to wouldn't 'cure' it. Blah...it will cost almost as much as daycare will a week. The label literally is gold. This formula is also known as baby cocaine...just kidding. Drew just might start peddling this stuff on the playground. He could make a fortune.
