Kate is closing the gap on Drew- size wise. They very easily wear the same size clothes. Grammy got these jammies for Drew- Kate just could not resist. Drew was trying to help mama take a pic.

 I think he was yelling "Stay. Here. Tate!"

It has been nothing but hot. Uncomfortable. Our yard is an amazon, literally. We have been couped up like livestock. Last night we went to our favorite "baseball" bar- Joe Sensors. We hit happy hour and the kid eat free with Mr. Magic entertainment. We ended up cutting our meal short- it was at least 90 in the restaurant. Ack. So we have spent lots of time finding things to do inside. We even skipped Tball- TOO HOT.
Coloring, cutting and gluing (or if you are Kate...eating crayons)

 Kate is Ms Magic "Watch this crayon disappear into my mouth!" (she is in for a big surprise when she starts her new school in the fall...or at least her teachers will be. I keep warning them, they keep reassuring me they they think she is the cutest and they already love her...then I also remind them that she takes good naps...so that should even things out)

We managed to go to the GV Farmers Market Sunday morning. We got there, Drew buried his head down and said- "I want to go home". So we quickly picked out our farmer food for the week and made our way out. I finally purchased my first farmers flowers. Geez- its already the end of July?? (notice how CLOSE they sit? Yes, they insist on butting their chairs right. smack. next to each other. It ALWAYS ends in a fight)

The sweaty carnival...ACK. This is how the carnival went-  got dizzy from the heat, made Aric oink down his cheese curds, got a police badge, balloon, let go of balloon after multiple warnings not too, cried hysterically for balloon, shoved sticky bodies into car, went home, sat in A/C to recoup.
