Drew had a tough weekend. Poor little guy has tonsillitis, or, as I am calling it "THE Tonsillitis". We picked him up early on Friday from daycare, he was really quite and mellow. By dinner he spiked a 103.2 temp so we took him to urgent care. They put him on antibiotics, but it has taken until today to see the effects. He seems in much better spirits today, yet he still hasn't eaten a morsel since Friday. He actually will only eat the Gerber puffs, about one handful so far (& 3 bites of cheese). He is drinking his bottle only, no juice, no pedilyte (he really isn't a juice drinker anyway).
Poor little Drew, this is how he spent most of his weekend...
By this morning, he was actually playing again. He LOVES his little people and his farm house. I am not certain exactly what he plays when he plays this, but he sucks on all the people, the animals, the fences, then puts them back in the farm.

Drew is pretending to eat...
One positive note for being sick...he has nailed the word Mom. He says it like "mum", a few weeks ago he was saying it, but it quickly vanished. This morning, the first peep from his crib was "mum, mum". Throughout the day today, he would look at me and say, "mum", then say "dada", then crack up at himself. He is one funny kid.
