Its Official

It is official. Drew is allergic to egg whites. He also is allergic to soy! What??! That is what he drinks! We transitioned him from regular formula to soy and it helped his skin sooo much. His pedi thought it was weird too, but she also felt it was accurate results. I guess it wasn't a severe level. Milk protein was minimal and he is not allergic to Rose (the bird) or wheat. But the egg was "strongly allergic". We still feed him baked goods with eggs, with discretion. SO PLEASE, restrain yourself from shoving "treats" into is mouth unless you know whats in it. I carry a little epi pen jr. just in case. We have an appointment on the 30th with the pedi allergist.

Drew has been just a precious bundle of joy lately...(insert sarcastic tone here). He is a pro at arching his cute little back and fake crying (just for mom). Rachel says he doesn't do that at daycare. I think he does, but with the chaos that in ensues, she blocks it out. He is still on antibiotic for his ear infection, so that may have something to do with it. He is definitely testing my boundaries. At this point, I either ignore him and walk away (out of sight) or distract him. He seems to do it when he is tired.

Milestones...he is starting to walk from one thing to the next holding on, he lets go every so often, then plops on his tush. He is a pro at steps-he zooms up them, he is starting to turn around when he scoots off of high objects, rather then face plant to get down, he constantly is babbling different sounds, and he loves to give air kisses! He drives everything, the remote, cars, cubes...everything gets "driven" on the floor. (oh, and he L-O-V-E-S Elmo)
